Our Independent Publishing Company
The first established subsidiary company of Queen of All Trades Incorporated,
Natural Rhythms Publishing Company continues to thrive today. The concept was
created in July 1999 for the initial purpose of exclusively publishing poetry and
facilitating poetry performances throughout North Carolina. With time, Natural
Rhythms Publishing Company, affectionately known as simply Natural Rhythms,
evolved into the multi-faceted literature arts-based company that exists today. Natural
Rhythms now employs 11 full-time artists - all multi-talented individuals skilled in the
disciplines of poetry recitation and spoken word, vocal and musical performance, and
improvisational acting. The skills of these individuals have been employed to establish
our in-house performance group, Verbal - The Acting Squad. Verbal has entertained
innumerable audiences statewide with informative and comically entertaining theatrical
mini-concerts. To celebrate National Poetry Month in years past, we have teamed up
with Borders Books & Music to provide café-oriented performance sets of poetry,
improvisational comedy and story-telling. Also, Natural Rhythms contracts freelance
poets, titled Lead Poets within the company, that have recited company and
self-written poetry and short stories statewide. Presently, we do not have a registered
team that competes in the National Poetry Slam Competition; however, we recently
organized a team and plan to register for future competitions. Our employed artists are
available for hire, both privately and publicly. Please call us for services, rates, and

organizations, and the like. Our freelance contractors conduct their own business
